Zach is the President of Assurtrak Insurance Brokers, LLC. He brings nearly two decades of expertise in commercial specialty lines insurance brokering, coupled with extensive experience in small business operations.

His priorities encompass building lasting relationships; delivering an exceptional client experience through outstanding service, passionate advocacy, meaningful collaboration, and unwavering integrity; and supporting, developing, and nurturing our people and culture.

Prior to joining Assurtrak, Zach was the General Counsel of a boutique specialty insurance brokerage firm where he managed and advised on all legal aspects of the business, including contracts, human resources, cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management. Beyond his legal responsibilities, Zach was integral to the firm’s daily operations, spearheading new company initiatives, leading project implementation, and participating in strategic business planning. Additionally, Zach worked directly with clients as their advocate in the professional and management liability markets and advising on their risk needs.

Zach earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Business Management (Business Legal Studies) from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University.

Zach resides in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois with his wife, their three boys, and beloved labrador retriever, Tallie.
